Far from Hiroshima, in Hoshino, Yame, Fukuoka, There’ s "Fire of Peace ''. It is a fire which was brought back from the burnt down city of Hiroshima in memory of a family member nowhere to be found. It was kept lit from 1945 to 1968 by a single family, then it was passed on to the city. After 75 years, it is still burning, in remembrance of war and never to repeat it again. And also for the hope for world peace. 

A-bombed building still stands in the city of Hiroshima, and is used as a gallery.
